Website

Our final project was done in the application Dreamweaver, where we finished up our unit in web design as well as the year by making a small website about a country of choice. The site included for all students a few internal as well as external links, along with some photos and information concerning the country that each individual chose.

Animation

Again using Adobe Photoshop, our class had to use the animation function for the first time and create an advertisement possibly to be used on a future website. The banner for most students included interesting transitions as well as interesting designs and was really fun to do. This project was one of the highlights of the year for me because I really learned a lot about a feature in Photoshop that i previously knew nothing about.

Poster

Also in Adobe Photoshop, our class was assigned to create a poster advertising a fake event, making it look appealing and informative (supplying a fictional date and time for the event). The events ranged from concerts to plays and all seemed to be creative and well done, displaying especially the possible use of creative fonts in Photoshop.

Magazine Cover

In Adobe Photoshop, our class imitated a real life magazine or made up one of our own, and previewed fictional articles and posted pictures on a mock cover page. We had to use our knowledge of layers and text along with the various techniques we learned about colors and formatting. The project was fun and displayed a lot of the hard work our class put in to the Photoshop unit.

Excel

For our Microsoft Excel project, we put together a portfolio of fictional spendings displaying our knowledge of the program. We learned how we could manage money quickly and efficiently in addition to how to design pages when doing so.
